Course Dates and Prices 2008
- 17th - 23rd August 2008
- 26th October - 1st November 2008
- Sorry!! We have cancelled the February and July courses because of other pressures on the program
All courses are £260 unless stated and include all equipment, food and accommodation. Participants must arrange their own transport to and from the centre. For most courses we do a free pick up, to and from Bangor Railway station, at the start and end of the course. Contact the centre for more details on this.
The course is a multi activity week consisting of a full range of exciting activities. The program is weather dependent but a common program will include Sea Level Traversing or Gorge walking, Rock Climbing and Abseiling, Canoeing or Kayaking and if the water releases, allow White Water rafting. To see what previous courses have done check out the Photo Gallery.
Do you have what it takes?
You could choose to spend a week building dry stone walls or paths across farmer's fields, or instead choose to come to Blue Peris and get fit and build some adreniline!
The aim of the residential project for D of E is for participants to work with and get to know new people in a new environment. Therefore, to fulfill the spirit of these aims, we can accept no more than 3 people from any single D of E unit onto a course for each activity group that is running. Please contact the centre for further details on this.
You don't need to be doing a D of E gold award to come on a course!!
Stuck for something to do at half term or in the summer? These courses are also suitable for any person from 16 to 25 who want to participate in a week of outdoor activities. There are not just exclusively for Dof E gold residential. If you have been to Blue Peris before and want to take things further this could be the week for you
Please contact the centre by phone or e-mail for a booking pack and further details.
