NGB Award Refresher Courses
The ML Refresher courses can be designed to be as flexible as the participants want it to be.
We can arrange days for anyone who is preparing for any NGB award assessment listed above. Bookings for these courses are made by arrangement and would cost our usual daily instructor rate of £220 a day. If there are more than 1 of you this cost can be shared. Content can be set by the individual

ML, WGL and SPA Re-Assessments (Non Residential)
These can be arranged to suit personal needs and times. They are run in accordance with MLTUK guidelines on a 1:1 instructor ratio. Bookings for these days are made by arrangement and are £150 per day.

Group Bookings & Other Dates
We can often run courses on other dates by arrangement. Block group bookings may attract a discount, bearing in mind group sizes:
ML or WGL
Training: max = 6, min = 4,
ML or WGL Assessment: max = 4, min = 3
SPA Training and assessment = 4.

Course Details
These courses operate under Mountain Leader Training Board approval.
You should now refer to our 'Information for Candidates' leaflet and make sure you satisfy the national governing body pre-requirements for
your course.

NB: All course fees are subject to change by the County Treasurer (unless a booking has already been made). A 10% reduction in course fees is available
for students/unemployed. Evidence of such will be required with booking form/deposit. This does not apply for Refreshers or re-assessments.
Please make cheques payable to Bedfordshire County Council, Blue Peris and send to the Centre. If you require an invoice
for the course fees please contact the Centre.

Booking Conditions
- All bookings must be made on the official booking form.
- A non-returnable deposit of £100 is required to confirm a place or a company address with purchase order number if required. Companies can be invoiced for part or full amount.
- The balance of the fee will be required six weeks before the course date.
- Bookings made less than six weeks before the course date must be accompanied by the full course fee.
- Cancellation penalties: cancellation within six weeks of the course date incurs a loss of 50% of the course fee. Cancellation after this time incurs a loss of the full course fee. Tranfers may be given for genuine medical reasons only if backed by a medical letter and if the centre can find an alternative candidate.
- Normal closing date for all courses is six weeks prior to the course, after this date please contact the Centre for availability of places
before sending booking form and cheque.
- A course may be cancelled by Blue Peris due to low numbers. In this rare event candidates will be offered a full refund or transfer.
