White Peris is next door to the main Centre and has recently been equipped as a self catering unit for up to ten people. The facility is used as a stand alone unit and not for overspill from the main Centre. It has been set up primarily for use by adult or family groups. It may be possible to negotiate use by older student groups but it is essential that all users are able to ensure a proper respect for both the facility and the wider neighbourhood.

The house is fully equipped with a small drying room, fitted kitchen, two showers, toilets and central heating.

The sleeping accommodation is divided into two rooms with two and three double bunks in each. There is a dining room and separate small lounge.

Pillows are provided but self catering groups are expected to bring pillow cases and sleeping bags. Bed linen is only provided by prior arrangement and at extra cost.

Under recent legislation, providers of adventure activities for students under the age of 18 require a license to operate. At present school, youth and voluntary groups fall outside this legislation, but in the interests of safety and good practice the Centre requires any leaders of such groups to hold the appropriate National Governing Body qualifications, provide a programme in advance for approval by the Head or Deputy Head of Centre and operate within the Centre's guideline notes on activity safety and emergency procedures. Guidance on these matters is readily available by contacting senior staff at the Centre.

Priority will be given to education and recreational groups from within Bedfordshire but bookings will also be accepted from out county groups.

• Cleaning materials are provided and groups are expected to leave the house clean and tidy ready for the next visitors
• Boots, waterproofs, rucksack, wellies, survival bag and thermal sweaters are all available by prior arrangement at extra cost
• Instruction is available by prior arrangement (see conditions and charges section for prices). Prices includes all specialist activity equipment. Minibus transport is available by negotiation and group sizes are dependent upon the activity required.
