Transport
To and From the Centre
The cost of transport is in addition to any course costs. However, for large groups (20 plus) Blue Peris can arrange the transport for you if you wish. The centre has arranged attractive deals with a North Wales based coach company which can often be very competitive. All coaches booked through Blue Peris are fitted with seat belts.
We normally use a 49 seater coach unless we have higher numbers. Therefore, if your numbers rise after confirmation of booking you need to inform the centre as we would then need to hire the 57 seater (including the courier seat). There is an extra cost for this larger coach.
The coaches booked through Blue Peris unfortunately do not have DVD provision.
Residential Transport Whilst at the Centre
With residential courses, transport is usually provided to and from activities in our fleet of minibuses.
Adventure Days Transport
Depending on the venue, activity and equipment logistics, transport may not be provided for. However, this will be discussed upon booking.
Safety and Quality of Blue Peris Mini Buses: all our drivers hold a Midas minibus driving assessment. In addition to this, the buses undergo daily checks, have garage inspections and meet all DVLA requirements.
Mini Bus Policies
The use of our mini buses are governed by the polices which the centre and the authourity have put in place.
Use of Mini Buses by visiting staff/course leaders
Centre minibuses may be available for the use of visiting staff for use for course purposes, but all drivers must hold the relevant licences and a further minibus awareness test, MiDAS or equivalent.
For exact details contact the centre. The centre also requires any potential driver to bring both parts of their licence to the centre.
Blue Peris Trailers
The centre has a fleet of trailers ands these have a monitoring and checking system in place to ensure they are safe and roadworthy. All staff meet the appropriate DLVA requirements.
