First Aid (REC)

Rescue and Emergency Care

Relaxed, friendly, practical, fun and professional,
First Aid Training for all.

We are one Wales' leading providers of Rescue and Emergency Care (REC) first aid courses.

Our HSE approved courses are delivered in a way that promotes an enjoyable and friendly learning environment. REC courses are not designed to overload you with terminology, but to provide training that will equip you to deal with a wide range of first aid scenarios. Sitting in a classroom for 2 days is not what this course is about.

The 2 day course is ideally suited for instructors, teachers, youth workers, voluntary assistants/leaders, climbers, canoeists, expedition providers, park wardens, shopkeepers; actually it is relevant to anyone who wishes to gain an understanding of first aid.

The course meets the requirements for most National Governing Bodies such as ; Mountain Leader Training (MLT), Canoe Wales (CT), British Canoe Union (BCU), DofE, Scouts, Girl Guides, British Caving Association, UK and Scottish Mountain Bike Awards,  Basic Expedition Leader Award, RYA, BOF, etc

REC has been established for over 20 years, is HSE approved and is delivered by a group of endorsed trainers across the UK and within Europe.

Do you require any previous experience?

No previous first aid experience is required, we cater for all abilities.

Are you assessed ?

There is no formal assessment. Just attend the 2 days, participate in the course and you will recieve a formal certificate.
